One specification in five colours, all of it drum-stuffed bridle butt from the same tannery. The colour is the only thing that changes.

Why only five
Because these are the colours the tannery runs in bridle butt at the weight we need. We could have a hide dyed to order and charge you for it, but a small run is dyed in a drum that was set up for something else, and the depth is never quite the same twice. Five colours we can repeat exactly for a decade is worth more than fifteen we cannot.
